it was an F3! it messed up the airport & several homes in our county. i'm so thankful that we didn't get hurt & that our property survived! all of this crazy weather had me thinking that we really need to invest in a fall out shelter. as uncomfortable as it was to sleep on cement i felt a million times better knowing that we would make it through the night with our lives no matter what happened around us & no matter how achey we were for the next day, i can deal with that for sure! i have priced them & i believe i could get one installed & everything for less that $10,000 && if we had one on our property then we could have it setup all the time with chairs & an air mattress so it could be comfortable :)
we ended up taking a nap when we got home saturday morning & damn~near slept the day away, lol! we slept until about 2pm & then Gary bowled & we went out to eat at our favorite place :) oh & when we got home i made brownies so we could have brownie sundaes :-) yum!
sunday was lovely though :) we got up at 10 & got our day started. it was sunny & windy, pretty cool too but at least it was pretty to look at through the windows :) we watched birds out at our feeders, decided we need more feeders (yay) & i unpacked some more stuff & decorated a little bit more. i have a ton of stuff & i can't remember where i had it placed at our old house so now i feel like i have a fuckton of extra pictures in frames. Gary washed his car & while he did that i put out some little "fence" trim stuff around the front flower bed... i really just did that to see if the kids in our 'hood mess it up before we spend a lot of money on making our front yard look awesome. hopefully they leave it alone so we don't have to get crunk ;)
today i am gonna try to decorate some more, i need to pole && i would LOVE to paint a room but IDK what to paint....
