the house is coming together nicely. i haven't even got half of our stuff unpacked but with all the furniture here i am able to unpack slowly... i need to get a move on though. the formal living room is 99% done, all i need to do i switch out a lamp in there & set one little clock out when i find it & it will be done :) Alizé & Keyleigh's room is done with the exception of buying new screws & putting the mirror on their dresser. the kitchen is done except for painting the real color on the walls... i guess by "done" i mean it's decorated, lol. oh & the light fixture needs to be moved && the microwave needs to be hung. ok so mostly done, lol. living room is done except for paint & sewing matching pillow covers. the loft is as done as i can see it getting anytime soon too! i need to find a pretty & CHEAP shower curtain for our downstairs bathroom & a rug :) our other house has 2.5 baths & this one has 3 baths so we are short a shower curtain & a bath rug... i'm not complaining :) i'm really enjoying living here & decoration it. Gary has been super great about everything & really doesn't care what i do as far as decorations go, well except for paint & he says he doesn't care about that but i wouldn't dare pick something like that without making sure he loved it first. our closet is mostly done too but i need to finish hanging stuff up & then i can figure out where to install the shelves for our shoes, i'm really hoping they can fit in the master closet! like really hoping & praying because i figured out i'm a clothes hoarder so i have way more than i thought... oops! after i get our house fixed up i need to go through my clothes (as bad as i hate the idea) & get rid of some stuff. i've only done that 1 time & still to this day i go looking for a white sweater that i didn't think i liked as much as i did & now it's gone forever :( i hate getting rid of clothes! now on the other hand i though i would have a problem getting rid of furniture but i didn't at all! that actually made me really happy! happy to know it was going to be used & loved again & happy to know i didn't have to find a place to put it!
i can't wait to get our fence up too so the pups can enjoy living again. yesterday i sat outside with them in the sunshine (it got up to 75) & Bella didn't want to come in the house.
