our first holiday season in our new home

it is the friday before thanksgiving & i am really excited about cooking our thanksgiving dinner this year. This is our first married thanksgiving, and the first holiday season in our new home. yesterday i went grocery shopping to get most of our food for the holiday (everything except the fresh veggies). last night i couldn't stand it any longer so i put my mini tree up in the kitchen & ONE snowman :)

this year our thanksgiving meal is going to include a Roasted Tofurky (traditional style), with roasted potatoes, carrots & onions, broccoli & cheddar daiya casserole, cornbread stuffing, maybe rolls too if we want them... and for the sweet stuff i'm making blueberry gunts & peanut butter fudge ;) probably gonna make the peanut butter fudge early in the week since it keeps well in the fridge & put the grunts in the oven while we are eating dinner. i'm not sure what we are drinking for thanksgiving but i hope its a hard cider of some sort... i'd LOVE to have some jacks!
