Monday, 5-21-12

this weekend was really busy! we went out on a search for some sort of cover for our patio so we can spend time out there & stay cool. we went to 5-6 places & finally found one :-D we set it up saturday afternoon & spent a little time out there. sunday we stayed out there a lot & drank a few beers :) the pups actually wanted to come inside so hubby & i were able to actually relax out there for a bit, it was really nice! this weekend we also got some dirt & seeds to plant basil. i am going to look for more stuff to grow after i do some research to see what grows easy in our region. 

OMG sunday when we woke up, hubby washed his car & i got up & read a few chapters in a book, Bella joined me after i had been up for about 5 mins & Osker came down about 20 mins after that... i took Bella out when she first woke up & i did the same with Osk... only problem is when Osker & i went out he didn't need to go O_o when i came in i started looking for a mess & i found it really fast! my precious baby boy had decided to hike his leg on my motherFuckin' pole!!! OMG talk about spoiling your day! i cleaned it up really well & used my spot bot on it but i'm still super freaked out :-/ !!!   after i nearly had a melt down & heart attack all rolled into one, my hubby & i got to talking about how important it is for me to have my own pole space & not have it thrown in our bedroom, he offered to get me a new pole to fit my new pole room :) a 10ft spinner  :-D i'm not gonna take him up on it just yet since we don't really need to spend the $ but it's nice to know he is supportive & would debit himself to help me succeed in my sport :-D 

after we talked i looked at Xpole's site to see how much i would really be spending & i noticed they are offering a 40mm for the US so thats pretty freakin' awesome! i need to decide if i want TG or not though. since i have taught in the past i do not plan to compete since i would have to enter comps as a pro (&i am not pro at all), so i can get a 45mm or a 40mm if i want. 50mm is standard for comps. anyways, i'm excited about pole & excited to know i will have a new pole in the near future. i need to paint my new pole room & get a different floor since it's nasty stained pre-owned carpet. i also need to finish putting things up since i am using my pole room as a big~ass storage closet... oops!

i applied for 6 jobs this morning, all ask you what race you are & what sex. that pisses me off! if you don't tell them they will skip over your application & if you do & it's not what they are looking for they won't talk to you either. how do they know what kind of person they would like to have in their office if they don't give everyone a chance? it's stupid! sorry but that is the dumbest shit i have ever seen in my life!
